Wedding..Canada Day...Boating...Camping..and New Hair!

Wow..its been a while..im going to attempt to update on the past month!

So last month, Our friends Niels and Julie got married!! yay!! Norm was the best man, so we went down to Cardston! They had beautiful weather!! I seriously love weddings! I would LOVE to be a wedding planner. Anyhow, here's some pics from their big day.

Sometime last month, my loving husband surprised me with flowers!! He's doing landscaping for the summer, so picked them himself. They smelled soooo good!! I love him!

Canada day was lots of fun! We all wore our Canada colors! Norms parents were gone for the weekend, so we had a party! lol Then the guys went to the Stampeders football game, while us girls and the kids just hung out here.

In my last entry I forgot to mention that Norms brother, and sister in law had their baby! She is so cute! It took them like a month to name her, but I think they picked a perfect name! Here's little Ella Lindsay. Congrats Dana and Shawn!!!

It was Norms dads birthday this month. So we had a family party for him. We all went down to my brother in laws parents place on the lake. It was lots of fun! It was our first time camping with Becca, she did pretty good, except for waking up at the break of dawn. We took Becca out on the boat for her first time too! She loved it, so much that she fell asleep..lol. I went tubing for the first time. I was against doing it, but Norm made me, and im glad he did, cause it was way fun!

Last weekend we went to Norms parents "Cabin" ( Its more like a house..lol) We went with one of my good friends Laura, who happens to be dating Norms cousin Chris, so that works out good..lol. It was so nice! It was my first time at the cabin. There's something relaxing about being in the middle of mountains. Almost as relaxing as being on the ocean. They had a firework show while we were there called Thunder in the Valley. It was awesome! It went on for over half an hour. I was scared that Becca would freak out, but she loved it!

The "Cabin"

Thats pretty much what we've been up to lately! My sister Hannah gets here in 10 days!! Im so excited!! We're gonna do lots of fun stuff! And then she's going to EFY out here. Then on the 17th, we're coming back to NS!!! I am sooooooo excited!!!!!!!! Rebecca and I are flying back with Hannah and then Norm is joining us a week later, for just a week. We're going to my grandparents summer place, down by Cape Breton for 2 weeks. And then Becca and I will be at my parents place till September 10th, so I hope to see everyone!!

We're in the process of trying to decide what to do with our life, so stay tuned for exciting updates!lol Since our house hasnt sold yet, Norms not able to go back to school. So there could be some big changes coming up! we'll see:)

Oh, wait, one more thing! I chopped my hair off, or well my sister in law, the professional did. I got over 6 inches off! I loved my hair long, but it was too hot. So here's my new do!

Weekend at the Lake, and Me as a Pirate!

This past weekend we headed down to Barnwell for the weekend. Its about 2 and 1/2 hours south of here, but it was worth it. Norms sisters, husbands family own a place on this nice lake down there. So we went to go out on the boat, and have some fun! It was awesome!! Almost made me forget that im in Alberta..lol And the weather was beautiful!! soooo hot! The water was still freezing though, and I found that out when my loving husband threw me in! lol Anyhow, here's some pics...

A few nights ago, in the middle of the night, Rebecca woke up crying, so I went to pick her up out of her crib, and in the darkness, so grabbed my eyeball, while my eye was open! It hurt so bad! But by the next morning it was fine and I didnt think anything of it. Then Tuesday morning when I got up, my eye was all red, and it felt like there was something in it, all day! It was driving me crazy. I just rinsed it out, and thought maybe I just had allergies. Then yesterday morning, oh man, when I woke up, I couldnt open my eye! It was sealed shut! I got it open with warm water, and figured that maybe it was time to see a doctor. So, the doctor froze my eyeball!! weirdest feeling ever!! and then put this orange stuff in it, and looked at it with a blue light to see if it was scratched or anything. Well, thanks to my little monkey, I have a scratch just under my lower lid. Im just thankful it wasnt over my pupil. But well, this scratch got infected, and thats what was causing all the problems. The doctor was really nice, and asked how old my daughter is, and said that she's still at the age where I cant get mad at her for it, and thats true..lol. So since my eye was frozen, I had to wear an eye patch all last night, so I wouldnt scratch it more without feeling it. Norm and Becca thought it was hilarious! I had to get Norm to come pick me up from the doctors, since I wasnt allowed to drive. And the meanie, while we were in the car, gave me a wet willie, and thought it was so funny since I couldnt see it coming!! haha. Anyhow, here's some pics of me as a pirate!

Birthday! and the last month...

This past month, we haven't done anything too exciting, but we've been busy all the time. Its so nice to be back in the city with friends our age!

Rebecca is enjoying it as well, she has a new boyfriend, Callahan. I think he's more interested in her than she is in him..lol. As you'll see one of these pics, he tries to hold her hand, and she's just like whatever, playing it cool..lol

Last month was my sister in laws grad. I did her nails, and makeup for it, and offered to take some pics at the lake for her. Well, she had a bunch of friends coming, and told them not to worry about bringing their parents, since I was coming. Some even thought I was a professional!! ahh!! So I ended up taking pics for like 16 people! couple and group shots, it was a bit stressful, but fun at the same time. Here's a few.

Another nice part of living here is being so close to the lake, since we live in a lake community. We've taken Becca there a few times, she wasnt so sure about the grass at first, but loves it now.

So June 1st was my birthday! Im now 23..seems so old..lol

We had a family get together on the Sunday before, but sadly Saturday night, I woke up in the middle of the night sick, so I wasnt feeling so hot. Norm made me a cake though, so I had to come upstairs and get some pics with it, even though I couldnt eat it.

Then on my actual birthday, Norm planned a bbq party for me, with all our friends. I was still a bit under the weather, but it was a lot of fun! He planned it at the Glenmore Reservoir, which for those who dont know, is like the biggest body of water in Calgary. Its where our drinking water comes from I think..lol. They have a yacht club there, so it reminds me of home with the sail boats. My mom ordered an ice cream cake for me, and got Norm to pick it up. It was awesome!:)

The other day Becca fell asleep in her high chair for the first time, it was so cute that I just had to get a pic.

So, last weekend, which in case you need to be reminded, was June, and it was snowing here!! I hate Alberta weather! We went to the temple with family, which was awesome! and I was gonna take a pic of the snowy temple grounds, but it had started to melt by the time we got out.
