Still waiting...

Well...Still no baby! I've now mentally prepared myself to go 10 days over and be induced, that way if she does come before then, it'll be a nice surprise:)

I had another appointment on Monday. It went pretty good.

Im still the same as far as being dilated...I would like to know how thats possible considering all these painful contractions!!

The bad news is...the baby has moved back up!! What the heck!!

The doctor said its uncommon, but happens. 

She's right back up under my ribs! Her head is still down, but not as low.

ARGH!!!

I was stripped again..it wasnt as painful..and still did nothing:(

This last week Becca's started saying "baby come!" So cute!

 This was cute..yesterday we were putting away laundry and Becca took out the thing of baby shoes..she tried putting these white ones on my feet. I told her they were too small and that they were for the baby, she said oh, and put it on my stomach:)

 Last night, she was being too quiet...

"what are you talking about mom, it wasnt me who just pulled out all 100 wipes:)"

Still no baby...

Well the last few weeks have been pretty uneventful. I've just been waiting for this baby to decide to make her appearance, with no luck!

I think knowing that im already almost 4cms dilated is making the waiting so much worse!

I've had sooo much false labour, which is just plain mean!

My results from my ultrasound came back fine. They estimated my baby at 5lbs 3 ounces.

She's dropped this last week, and im happy to be able to breath again! But hating the constant pressure.

I had my membranes stripped on Monday, holy painful!!! And it didnt work! The doctor said the baby's head was right there, and baby girl was not happy about the doctor being in her space. She kept kicking like crazy!

Becca is excited about the new baby. She comes up to my tummy a lot and says "hi baby". She still likes to pull up my shirt and give the baby zurberts. And the latest thing she does is pull up her shirt and says "where's baby?" then touches her belly button to mine lol 

I know she's gonna look so huge when this baby is born!

My sister in law threw me a baby shower last Saturday. 

It was great! So many of my friends and family came! 

 My mother in law made this beautiful blessing dress for baby girl!! I'll have to take a better picture of it, its amazing!

Yesterday was Norms birthday, so I had a few of our friends over Saturday night for a little get together. It was a great time! I find now that most of us have kids, its harder to get together a lot.

 All Norm wanted for his birthday was his baby girl. He thought it would be sweet to share a birthday with her. Well he didnt get his wish. Instead we got a call at 7am that his sister was in labour, and in the hospital. So instead of his baby, he got a niece on his birthday. At least this way, maybe his family will remember his birthday lol

  Mayley Monica Bullock was born at 1:15 pm yesterday. She was only 5 pounds, 11 ounces, and 19 inches long. I only have a few pics that my other sister in law took. She looks so tiny! I cant wait to meet her.

Maybe my baby was just waiting for her cousin to be born first, since she was due first:)

Hopefully my next update will be a baby one:)

Baby Update.

Well I went back to the doctor today to be rechecked.

Im a little more dilated then on the weekend, but nothing to write home about.

The doctor was concerned though cause im measuring smaller that last week.

She said there's so many things it could be, my fluid levels, position of the baby etc.

So she sent me for an ultrasound right away.

It was nice to see my little girl:)

She looks so much like Norm, and Becca, same nose and lips.

The ultrasound tech isnt allowed to tell me anything, but since she could see that im dilated said that she was gonna rush my results to the doctor.

I should hear back in a few days...I hate the waiting game!

If there is something flagged, then they'll send me to another clinic for a more detailed ultrasound.

And from there if anything is flagged, they'll give me an ultrasound every few days until im 37 weeks, and then they'll want her out.

My doctor told me today that I could go at anytime since she would feel my membranes. 

Im not allowed to exercise, or break a sweat (Norm says when do I ever do that anyways lol)

And, if she's not here by 38 weeks, the doctor said they can give me a sweep and that should be enough to put me in labour. 

So that was my excitement for the day.

Baby Stuff.

Last Saturday was my sister in law Lindsay's Baby Shower!

I decided for her gift to just make a bunch of stuff, so I thought i'd share with you all:)

First thing I made was a diaper cake, it was the first one i've ever made, I was ok with how it turned out.

Next I of course made her a nursing cover, which I didnt take a pic of, but its the same one as in the pic on my "whine and dine" blog, so feel free to check that out:)

She's having a little girl, so of course I had to make some bows and headbands.

I also made a bow board for the first time too.

Then I made some "baby legs", it was so easy! And so much cheaper than buying the real thing.

I made a decorated wipe case to match her nursing cover. I used a small pampers case, next time im gonna try huggies. The pampers one wasnt latching properly.  She might have to use it to hold diapers instead.

And finally the last thing I made was a soother clip. I was gonna make more, but I ran out of time.

I had also planned on making burp clothes and some cute baby shoes, but left it all to the last min, so didnt get to. 

Now I just need to make all these things for my own baby:)

Speaking of my own baby, I might as well do a pregnancy update.

I've been super sick, yet again!

I switched my iron pills, so its not them making me sick anymore.

It was so bad last week that I couldnt even keep ginger ale down! It was awful!

Luckily my sil took Becca one day so I could rest.

I went to my prenatal last Thursday and I've lost 4lbs in the last 2 weeks! 

My doctor didnt seem to concerned though, and just told me to take gravol. 

I told her that i've been having way bad contractions off and on, and she said thats normal.

So then Friday morning, I lost my mucus plug (sorry if thats TMI lol) so I was thinking great, thats just what I need! lol

Over the weekend my contractions kept getting worse, but not unbearable, so I just ignored them.

Sunday when I was in church they got so painful and uncomfortable that I wanted to cry. 

So after church we decided I better go to the hospital and get checked. 

They got me in right away and hooked me up to all the monitors.

Baby girl was not happy about it! She kept trying to kick the things off my stomach. 

The monitors werent picking up any contractions, so I was thinking great! im just wasting my time again.

They did an internal exam and swab to make sure my water wasnt leaking, it wasnt. I could tell by this point Norm was thinking, we're here again just so they can tell us there's nothing wrong. (which is why he hates taking me to the hospital lol)

Then the doctor said the last thing she wanted to check was my cervix.

I was totally ready for her to check it and say its tightly closed, you can go home.

She started checking it and was like "oh, wow, thats surprising."

So turns out im 3cms dilated and 60% effaced.

I was only 1cm and not effaced at all with Becca, right up until when I was induced.

She said she could send me walking, and see if active labour will start, or I could just go home and relax and wait for it. I decided to go home lol

She said it could be hours, or weeks before I go into labour, but that she doesnt think i'll make it to 40 weeks.

It was a wake up call for Norm lol I have all her clothes washed and put away, but we dont have a hospital bag packed yet, havent bought diapers, and havent taken her car seat out of storage yet lol So we're getting all that stuff done now!

Im going in for a check again tomorrow morning to see if im dilated more, if I am they'll decide what to do from there. 

Im only 35 weeks, so I was surprised that they would let me go into labour now and not try to stop it.

Anyhow..here's a pic I got Norm to take right before we left for the hospital, just in case lol

PS. Norm was reading my blog the other day and said, "does anyone even read this anymore? you haven't had comments in more than 3 posts, no one loves you! lol"
